ADIDAS SWIMSUIT 'HOW AND WHY', THE GUARDIAN, 2009

How and why Swim suits, 2009Sunday’s swimming world championships in Rome have been overshadowed by arguments over the use of performance-enhancing swimsuits, with Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington refusing to wear any of the latest versions. Fellow Briton Jo Jackson is however. She will take to the water in the Adidas Hydrofoil, which has been designed to reduce drag by staying dryer and lighter for longer and keeping muscles compressed. It helped three swimmers break records last month and is seen as a step up from Speedo's LZR Racer, which Adlington will be in this weekend
